OLIVE LABS

Olive Labs is a company that develops technologies and experiences that react to physiology and lifestyle changes to provide feedback and coaching for mental wellness and stress control. The company was founded by myself and classmates from the University of Pennsylvania and Wharton School of Business. Olive’s first product is a wearable device capable of monitoring the human stress response and accompanying software that delivers timely coaching and stress prevention tactics. While working on Olive I gained experience working with a small and agile team comprised with leading designers and engineers with prior experience working at companies such as frog design, Google, and Quirky. I was involved in all aspects of the company including the initial product definition and user research. In the early stages of Olive Labs, I created numerous electrical and mechanical prototypes. This included designing and testing analog sensors, circuit layout, and manufacturing printed circuit boards. Additionally, I wrote embedded code and gained experience programing Bluetooth LE modules. As the team at Olive Labs grew, I led engineering efforts and managed work streams including mechanical, electrical, and software engineering. With the evolution of designs, I worked with overseas manufacturers to produce electrical and mechanical prototypes at small scale builds.
